For years, soccer fans and players had to rely on commentator - Toby Charles and Soccer Made in Germany to get a professional game FIX on television...once a week.  NOW...we have the best thing for the game since Pele - FOX SOCCER CHANNEL!

In the Reading, Pa area, it costs an extra FIVE DOLLARS a month to subscribe ... that's it!  FOX Soccer Channel is exactly what our young players need. 

Part of becoming a great player is having role models... players to emulate.  Because of network television, baseball, football, and hockey players have always had that luxury.  Over the past several years, we can add soccer to that list.  Now, a young player can watch the top ten goals and saves of the week, the best players doing their magic during highlights, and become more educated about the history of the game...as seen on GOL TV.

The program of choice (not always mine - GO EAGLES and PHILLIES) in my house every morning until 7am is FOX Soccer Channel.  My seven year old son knows more about the EPL and other professional leagues around the world, than he does the NFL!  ESPN comes on after the FOX Soccer channel and Sky Sports updates.  Plus...he sets reminders for all of the big games throughout the week - so we don't miss them!

This is exactly what our country needs.  Players now flock to soccer specialty stores to purchase new professional team jerseys and other gear.  They wear it to school - sometimes even for class photos...much to the chagrin of some moms and dads!

It's about creating a soccer CULTURE in the United States!
