Learn From the Best
FC Revolution offers private lessons to players who are interested in working with former college and professional players who can not only coach children through the intricacies of the game, but can also demonstrate what they are teaching. This can be very constructive for the dedicated player who is willing to take what they learn at the lesson and work on it at home.
The Regimen
The FC Revolution Private Training Regimen is a build-up of skills, starting with the basics and getting more complex as the player progresses. All sessions are documented and assessed before the following session is planned.
The reoccurring theme in all sessions is the focus on a player's ability to control a ball in all situations. Players will learn to dribble in tight spaces, dribble in open spaces, change directions, beat opponents by using moves, and learn to combine dribbling with other skills such as shooting and passing.
New this year in private training is the implement of "The Everton Way". The Everton Way is an online tool that demonstrates the methods that Everton FC uses to develop players to their men's team in the English Premier League. Past graduates include Wayne Rooney and Leon Osmond.
The FC Revolution regimen covers the following skills:
Dribbling in tight spaces
Dribbling in open spaces
Beating opponents with moves
Turning
Shooting off of the dribble
Shooting off of a pass
Free kick taking
One-touch passing
Passing off of the dribble
Using disguise when passing
Heading
Controlling aerial balls
And much more!
Costs
Lessons run one hour
One player: $50/hour
Two players: $30/player/hour
Three players: $25/player/hour
Four players: $20/player/hour
Group of five or more: $100/hour total
(Add $5 per player for indoor training at Grand Slam SC or Body Zone)
